MISTER WAYNE
Mister Wayne is at forefront of the entertainment industry in New Orleans, Louisiana. Aside from DJing , Mister Wayne is a recording artist and producer with 4 solo projects to his credit (The MUSIC EP, My Life, The Jay Z Black Album Remix, The Calm Before The Storm) as well as production credits for local and national artist.
He’s the host and producer of local television show “ Hip Hop And Fashion”.
Mister Wayne learned the art of DJing from New Orleans Pioneer “DJ Maniac” , at the age of 12, Wayne would accompany DJ Maniac on gigs where Wayne would learn the science of blending records , MCing, and keeping the crowd entertained.
At the age of 12 Wayne began making mix tapes for friends and family gatherings, as well as DJing for family functions.
“ I play a wide range of music when I spin, I like to blend obscure songs with somewhat popular songs and make people dance” says Wayne.
“I’m heavily influenced by 70s and 80s music, the late Prince and I think it translates to my style of DJing “.
